That’s right The Whiskey Baron Dance Hall and Saloon is hosting the best vocal singing competition around. Join us Tuesday, May 21st at 7pm and continuing every Tuesday through the summer. You can sing whatever song you want – not just country. So pick a song and grab your friends because 25% of the vote comes from the audience. Not a singer??? No worries! There’s a door prize for the audience every week too! Don’t miss your opportunity to win the Grand Prize of $5,000 CASH! Must be 21 or older to participate.

Event Overview

Whiskey Idol- 2024 Spring Rules

For Idol contest to be held May 21, 2024 – July 30, 2024
Doors at 6pm – Competition starts at 7pm

  • Contestants release the rights and grant Whiskey Baron Dancehall & Saloon permission to use all media, pictures, music, sound bites, sound clips & any material, data, interviews etc. Any above stated media or content becomes the property of Whiskey Baron Dancehall & Saloon and will not be returned to contestants.
  • Maximum of 50 weekly contestants per week.
  • Voting starts near the end of the performance for a period of 3 minutes after the weekly competition.
  • Voting for the competition will be calculated using the following method. 75% of votes will come from the weekly judges. 25% of the vote will come from audience voting.
  • Voting will be open at 9pm for a period of 3 minutes after the competition is over for the week. The MC will announce that voting is open. Voting will remain open for 3 minutes. Any votes arriving after or before the 3 minutes will not be accepted.
  • The top 3 total scorers from each week will be invited back for the semi-finalist showdowns.
  • Contestants not placing in the top 3 weekly may return in following weeks through Week 6 to attempt placing in the top 3.  There is no automatic carry over.  Contestants  must re-register.
  • Top 10 scores from the semi- finals (week 10) will be invited back for the Finale. The Finale will be judged the same way, except each performer will sing twice and the top 3 scores will win the prizes.
  • Participating in this contest you agree to release Whiskey Baron Dancehall & Saloon from any liability in regard to the contest.
  • In case of voting malfunction, the judges panel will select the winners. Selections are final.
  • ALL previous grand-prize winners of Whiskey Idol are ineligible to compete. (applicable with next round of Idol)
  • You must be present to compete and win.
  • You must be present to vote.
  • No shows forfeit their spot in the competition.
  • If you are not at least 21 years of age you will be disqualified from competition.
  • Any contestant with a signed record contract is ineligible to compete.
  • Competitors will sing as individuals only. No duets
  • No props or instruments are allowed.
  • Contestants cannot offer gifts, swag, hand-outs, or promotional materials to the crowd.

Whiskey Idol – Spring 2024 Contest Overview

Kicking off Tuesday 5/21 and running 11 consecutive weeks through the finale on 7/30
Each week’s winner(s) will be chosen through a combination of judges’ votes and audience votes

Weeks 1-6 QUALIFYING WEEKS (May 21 – June 25): Open sign-ups for singers, online at TheWhiskeyBaronDanceHallandSaloon.com for weekly competition. Each week, the top 3 contestants will be chosen through a combination of judges and audience voting to participate in the Semi-Finalist elimination week.

Weekly prizes include (provided by Whiskey Baron):

1st Place-  $100 cash
2nd Place- $50 Weekly Sponsor gift card
3rd Place-  $25 Whiskey Baron gift card

The Whiskey Baron will provide weekly prizes to the top performer (tickets, gift cards, t-shirts, etc.)

Weeks 7 – 9 THEME WEEKS (July 2 – July 16): Our 18 singers from weeks 1-6 will come back

to compete in a series of weekly competitions to earn their space in the semi-finals

7/2 – 70s/80s Night: 18 competitors sing 1x each, 70s/80s era song- any genre. The bottom 2 are eliminated. 

7/9 – 90s/00s (through today) Night: Remaining 16 competitors sing 1 song each, 90s/2000s/2010s/2020s THROUGH today – any genre. The bottom 2 are eliminated. 

7/16 – Country Night: 14 remaining competitors sing 1x song from the country music genre. The bottom 2 are eliminated. 

Week 10 & 11 – FINALS WEEKS (7/23 & 7/30) 

SEMI-FINALS 7/23: 12 singers will compete for their spot in the FINALS Top 10. Singers sing 1 song of their choice, any genre.

 Weekly Prize: None

 FINALS 7/30: Our top 10 competitors will sing 2 songs of their choosing.

Grand Prizes include: (provided by The Whiskey Baron)

1st Place – $5000 cash      2nd Place – $100 cash          3rd Place – $50 cash

By entering and by your presence here, you consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded. Your entry constitutes your consent to Whiskey Baron, its affiliates and sponsors to use such photography, filming and/or recording in any and all media throughout the universe in perpetuity, of your appearance, voice and name for any purpose whatsoever in connection with the production. You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent given to you by entering this area. The Top 10 scorers from the semi-finals will be invited back for the Finale. The finale will be judged the same way except each performer will sing twice and the top 3 scores will win the prizes.

By signing this you agree to release The Whiskey Baron Dance Hall and Saloon from any liability in regard to the contest. In case of texting malfunction, the judges panel will select the winners.
